The communication between the ESP and NodeRED is now working. The following picture showcases a part of our NodeRED.
This part features a counter that starts when the locker is registered as closed, and “stops” when the locker is open. When the counter starts, NodeRED sends a message/payload to the ESP to start the locking mechanism. When the timer runs out, NodeRED then sends a signal to open.
